• Rescue application information: if you apply to list a rescue, your organization's details, contact information, and references you provide.
• Automatically collected: like most websites, we collect basic usage data (pages visited, browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address) through Google Analytics and standard server logs.

We use this information to operate the forum and your account, review rescue applications, respond to messages, keep the site secure, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site traffic. It sets cookies and collects usage data on our behalf. You can opt out using your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with a rescue when you choose to contact or apply to them; with the service providers that run our site (hosting, analytics, image hosting); or if required by law.

We keep your information while your account is active. You can edit or delete your account at any time, or email us to have your information removed. You can opt out of analytics as described above.

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Rescue organizations and other sites we link to have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

We may update this policy and will revise the “last updated” date when we do.
