Yes. To keep the network trustworthy, only verified 501(c)(3) rescues are listed. You're welcome to apply before you're verified, but your rescue goes live only once 501(c)(3) status is confirmed.
How long does it take to go live?
Usually within a few days of receiving your info. The more complete your submission, the faster we can turn it around.
Can I update my profile after it's live?
Yes. Just reach out with the changes and we'll update it. Dog listings stay current automatically; you only need to contact us for changes to your organization info.
Is there a cost?
No. Listing your rescue is free, and it will stay free. BTRN exists to get bull terriers adopted. Putting rescues behind a paywall defeats the point.
What if we cover more than one state?
Just let us know when you submit. We list a primary state for directory filtering but your profile can reflect wherever you actually operate and transport.
