Sometimes, the eyes of a dog tell a story that words never could. Our newest boy is just 1 year old, but his little eyes have already seen things that have left him feeling scared and unsure of the world around him. Despite what he has been through, this sweet boy has so much love to give. He is dog-friendly, loves people, and has shown no aggression whatsoever. What he has shown is fear—a reminder that not every dog who is timid needs to be fixed. Sometimes, they simply need to feel safe. He knows some commands, is obedient, and is ready to begin learning what life should really look like: a life filled with kindness, patience, security, and love. ❤️ While he loves people, he has not been treated well by young children in the past, and as a result, he is afraid of them. He will need a patient, understanding home that respects his boundaries and allows him to build confidence at his own pace. His future family will need to help him learn that not all experiences are scary and that he can trust the people around him. This boy deserves a fresh start. A chance to put his past behind him. A chance to discover that hands can be gentle, homes can be safe, and love can be unconditional. He will be neutered and fully vetted before heading to his forever home.
